Here’s what the ladies themselves have to say

Joyanne– The Winner!!
I could not have felt as confident or as glam as I did without your support, encouragement and faith in me. You are completely awesome. It makes a huge difference feeling confident in your clothes especially when you are working so hard on a positive mindset too. This year has been such an amazing year and I have so many positive to take from it and celebrate.Following your blogs/ video clips, seeing you for personal shopping sessions, going to the relevant workshops and the pre awards advice have all contributed to me continuing on the path of empowerment and self awareness that you started when I came on the day course originally.
All these have a positive impact on me from the minute I wake up each day, just because I no longer dither at the wardrobe or try on 15 outfits. I know what works and I sometimes even pick out things the night before!!!

(My Marc also loves you for that, no more awkward questions “What do you think?”). I know this sounds soppy but it has been a life changing experience and I feel honoured and grateful to know you (also coz you are such a lovely person too).

Sara Never felt more like a princess and that’s all down to you! Xx

KiriI felt great in the dress and the shopping experience brought me out of my comfort zone to try on outfits I wouldn’t normally try. Gay, you were very calm, relaxed and patient, which was great and the time just went so quick! x

Diana“I found the styling experience great fun despite my initial trepidation. Gay really put me at ease and gently drew me out of my comfort zone and into a dress and heels, neither of which I have worn for a very long time! She also has a very good eye for accessories.

At the event I felt really good and received a lot of compliments. I found the dress draped beautifully and was very wearable.”

Chris Moon- Willems “Its several years since I have been to a dressy event and I was a bit nervous about what to wear and didn’t want to buy anything new as it could be several years before I needed it again. Gay was great in coming up with the ideal accessory, a large necklace in my colours, that pulled everything together nicely. On the night I felt great and had a ball. Three cheers for Gay!”

Jen – award winnerIt was drama on the eve of the women’s Awards when I discovered my dress no longer fit!
I rushed down to see Gay at Debenhams on the morning of the awards to get something to wear (it had to be fab as I was a nominee)!I spotted Gay and immediately felt better as I knew she would find something fabulous for me as she styled me for my wedding and I looked amazing.

I told her I only had £100 to spend and she immediately got to work finding me the perfect dress, along with shoes, a shawl and earrings all for £99.99 – and I looked and felt spectacular! She was so professional and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my look before leaving!
And it was a good job too as I won the award for social media!

I will make a point of going to see Gay, anytime I am shopping … and BIG thanks xx

Sandra I went for a styling session with Gay a few years ago and to this day remember all the things she suggested to enable me to look the very best I can.

Her expertise and passion really were the things that drew me to her.

As an expert Coach specializing in Health and well being it’s imperative I look at my best, Gay remains a support and has the perfect balance of knowledge enthusiasm and a touch of something nobody I have met in her field has! (even that Gok wan or whatever his name is)

I highly recommend you see her if you want to look and feel at your best whatever shape or size you are.

Gay I wanted to be slightly non traditional so I chose this amazing jumpsuit by Ailsa . I accessorized with black and gold and some killer heels and I felt F..A..B..U..LOUS!

The 3 F’s of Party /Evening Wear

It’s all about the fabric being luxurious and opulent which says party / evening.
So think lace, satin, sheer, silk, crepe jersey, leather, beaded, sequined.

Accessories add the final touch to an outfit and also express your personality – make sure they are the right scale and shape for your outfit.

Needs to be functional but also fabulous – the two don’t always go hand in hand!
Try on shoes that are high they can be surprisingly comfortable.

5 Top Tips for Party Dressing

      1. Select pieces i.e. trousers, dresses, skirts, and tops, jackets that are the best styles and colours for YOU

It is absolutely crucial to know your body shape and colours then it makes it so much easier to select great looking pieces for you.

2. Consider your colouring, size of bust, tummy, height, shoulders, shoes and cost

3. Keep up to date with style of bag, shoes and accessories

4. Do the Test Run test – sitting down, walking, and dancing – check line, comfort, hemline, and straps. You need to be comfortable so no fiddling/ fussing with any bits on the night.

5. Know you look fabulous, then forget about yourself and go and have a fantastic time.

This combination should portray just enough sexiness whilst leaving something to the imagination – a heady confident combination, showcasing your best assets – go party people!
